This Privacy Policy describes how Wilego Damamu ("we," "us," or "our"), located at 320 Broadway, Cincinnati, OH, collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information obtained through the website wilego-damamu.info (the "Site"). By using the Site, you acknowledge the practices described in this document.

This policy is written in compliance with applicable United States federal and state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and applicable FTC regulations governing online data practices. Residents of states with enacted comprehensive privacy legislation, including Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), and Texas (TDPSA), may have additional rights described in Section 9 below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: information you provide directly, and information collected automatically when you visit the Site.

1a. Information You Provide

When you use the contact form on this Site, you provide us with your full name, email address, phone number, the subject of your inquiry, and the content of your message. You also provide an affirmative consent signal via the privacy checkbox before submitting the form. We collect only what you voluntarily enter. We do not collect payment information through this Site.

1b. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting infrastructure and any active analytics tools may collect your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and the time and date of your visit. This information is collected as log data and may be associated with a session identifier. Cookies placed on your device may store a session token or preference identifier. See our Cookie Policy for a full breakdown of cookies in use.

2. How We Use Your Information

Information you provide through the contact form is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not use contact form submissions for marketing without your separate, explicit consent. Automatically collected data is used to understand how the Site is used, to diagnose technical issues, and to maintain site security. We do not sell personal information to third parties. We do not share contact form data with advertisers.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

For visitors subject to US state privacy laws that require a legal basis for data processing, our bases are as follows. Contact form data is processed on the basis of your consent, provided when you check the privacy checkbox and submit the form. Automatically collected log data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining a functional and secure website. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at the address below.

4. Data Retention

Contact form inquiries are retained for a period not exceeding 24 months from the date of receipt, unless a longer retention period is required to fulfill an ongoing service relationship or comply with a legal obligation. Automatically collected log data is retained for a maximum of 12 months. After the applicable retention period, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We use third-party services in the operation of this Site. These services may act as Processors on our behalf and may receive limited personal information as necessary to perform their function. Categories of third-party providers include web hosting infrastructure, analytics services, and font delivery networks. We do not permit third-party providers to use your personal information for their own marketing purposes. Each provider is selected based on their privacy practices and, where applicable, their compliance with US privacy law.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. You can manage cookie preferences through the cookie consent interface available on the Site. Refusing certain categories of cookies may affect the functionality of some Site features. The Site does not respond to browser-level "Do Not Track" signals at this time, as there is no uniform industry standard for such signals.

7. Children's Privacy

This Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has submitted personal information to the Site, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us at the address in Section 11. This practice is consistent with the requirements of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include HTTPS encryption for data in transit, access controls on systems containing personal data, and regular review of our data handling practices. No transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information: the right to know what personal information we have collected about you; the right to request deletion of your personal information; the right to correct inaccurate personal information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising); and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know the categories of personal information collected and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. To exercise any of these rights, submit a request to the contact information in Section 11. We will respond within 45 days as required by applicable law, with a possible 45-day extension for complex requests.

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Texas have similar rights under their respective state privacy laws and may also submit appeals if we decline to act on a request.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Continued use of the Site after a revised Policy is posted constitutes your acknowledgment of the updated terms.
